Oh my goodness! Just a few days ago I put word out to a couple, as in two ladies I know, I went on Kijiji and also talked to one business in Charlottetown, looking for knitting needles and crochet hooks. WELL! Did they respond!!
Meredith made some purchases and did some calling within her family, Cheryl checked with some friends in the local Women's Institute, I dug around in my own knitting box and also received a call from Betty (someone I had never met) on Kijiji who wanted to know all about what we were doing... she was willing to trade yarn for needles and hooks. At last count we have:
36 pair of single point knitting needles
17 sets of double point knitting needles and
18 crochet hooks!
Wow... Thanks so much to these ladies for their help!
