So, Michelle sent us a link for fitting more into a suitcase. There were two suggestions, one - rolling clothes, which I already use - but the other was vacuum sealing which I had kinda forgotten about. So we tried it with some things that were going to be staying in Uganda. Of course you have to be careful doing this with things you are bring back home if you have the same amount of luggage space because you might not have access to a vacuum where you are going. Still, it worked in this situation. Not sure you can really tell but here are the before and after photos of just one bag of t-shirts!

It really works!
Goodness... such a couple of days of packing! Our brains are tired from trying to fit everything in ... weighing, repacking, moving stuff from one bag to another, re-weighing. But finally the job is completed. Pray for clear sailing with the folks at the airport who just have to do their job but we need them to be awfully helpful.

YEAH! It does work.. it's how I store my winter clothing - also helps with closets! Glad the tip worked!!
